Take Notice

Days go by and I notice.

Each day I can do the next right thing and still feel like I have not moved.

Peace can be upon me and the Devil will try to attack with his creeping words through people, places, or things.

You are not enough, you are not doing enough, you do not deserve it, you will not make it, why are you still trying?

The lies we hear to keep us from being content, happy, and free from judgement (even our own judgement) …why do we believe them?

Notice, but do not believe the lies.

Recognize them, but do not accept them.

If any judgement is ours to have, it is to judge the evil ways we allow ourselves to be tricked into depression, anxiety, and a mental anguish that can destroy.

Counteract…

Hear the words from God’s viewpoint.

You are enough because I made you. You are doing enough, because I gave you the strength to accomplish what I want you to do. You do deserve it because I kept you here. You will make it because I will continue to strengthen you. You keep trying because I am with you. Take notice of what is true and do not let the lies saturate your soul.

I am single mother of a 15 year old special needs son. I turned away from the corporate world that was supporting us to be home more with my son and manage my own physical illnesses that crept up on us. Two years ago I decided to take up writing (which was something I loved doing as the younger me) and I just published my first book, with many more in the making. I strive to leave a legacy for my son that could assist in his unknown future once I am gone.
